Tender Description
APPOINTMENT OF A CONTRACTOR FOR THE CHILLER PLANT UPGRADE PROJECT AT THE SARB DURBAN CASH CENTRE.Client Bank Account
Only tenderers who have a CIDB contractor grading of 7ME or higher, are tax compliant, and are willing to subject their company and
staff to the SARB’s applicable security vetting procedures are eligible to submit tenders.
The following are the mandatory requirements that the bidders must comply with:
1. Refrigeration Mechanic: The individual must have a trade test as a Refrigeration Mechanic and be an authorised gas practitioner
2. Electrician: The individual must have a trade test as an electrician and have a wireman’s license
3. Health and Safety Officer: The individual must have a National Diploma in Safety Management or National Diploma in Environmental
Health or equivalent (NQF 6). The individual must have an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (SAMTRAC) and SACPCMP
4. Quality Control/Assurance Officer: The individual must have a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a 1-week (40 hours) ISO
9001 implementation certificate and a 1-week (40 hours) ISO 9001 auditing certificate, are eligible to submit tender.
